Top Ten Facts About My Life:
10. I'm a religious Jewish young woman.
9. My parents are Russian immigrants to the US.
8. I have three little sisters, Dina, Neta and Mili. I am blessed with a warm, loving family. My grandparents, Rina and Misha, and Ella and Lev, live in Brooklyn, so we see them often enough. I have an aunt Polya, who has three little boys and a baby girl. I got very lucky when G-d was deciding what family I should be put in. And, well, to go beyond immediate family would probably make me exceed the word-maximum for the entry, so I'll stop here.
7. I love to read and write.
6. Other interests include: music, art, learning, Torah, philosophy, running.
5. I, thank G-d have many friends from all over. From my old school and from town, from school now, from NCSY, and from upstate New York where I spend every July.
4. Bais Chaya, the name I am christening (haha no pun intended) my high school, is a hopeless bureaucracy. (Trust me, you'll learn plenty in the upcoming days about our lovely Bais Chaya...)
3. My life, quite sadly, revolves around school, between a 1.5 hour-long commute every day and 9 hours of nonstop classes, I have barely any time for other things. I haven't read a normal book for, what, a month? Pathetic.
2. I should really start studying for my Prophets test (it's on Isaiah, and the main point is: "If you follow G-d's word you live and see the Messiah. If you don't follow His word, you die and burn in hell." Not to mock Isaiah's words, G-d forbid, but the book is 95%, as my English teacher would call it, "repetition for effect".)
1. And above all, I am a passionate lover of Israel.
